This summer so many people have lost so much to
Floods, Hurricanes, Earthquakes and War. And now
we have the specter of Bird Flu breathing down
our necks.
With the holidays fast approaching we need to
look at all that we have and be thankful for
our family, friends and health.
New Ideas for Fall
We just got back from a fall show and picked up
quite a few new gemstones. We found things like
Zebra Jasper and Chocolate Agate; many fresh,
new and bold beads.
We picked up some killer pink and black glass
beads. I just wish that we had had them here in
time for October. The colors are perfect for
that breast cancer awareness look.
We have restocked some chips that have been out
of stock for so long that I felt that I should
flag them as new.
In all of the stores at the mall this year you
will see that a lot of these looks taking
inspiration from sixties peasant / hippie look:
Embroidery, Embellishment, Full Skirts, and
Chunky Jewelry.

Why would something you label as new also show
up as a price cutter?
When I receive an item into our inventory, I just
eyeball our cost then mark it up. Once I have
received the entire invoice then I go back and
apply any discounts that the vendor gave me. At
this time I go back and adjust out prices,
sometimes items go up, but most of the time they
go down in price.
