"It's the most wonderful time of the year"
I love that Office Depot commercial where the adult is
happy and singing and the kids are all frowning. School
in Florida is back in session. My daughter has something
better to do than ask me to take her swimming.
School Fashions - After looking around on the Web, my
local Target store and Claire's Accessories I see
flashbacks to the 60's or as one site put it "Don't pack
away your jeans and peasant blouses just yet. All
things groovy - the handcrafted looks, peasant
touches, rugged outerwear - top the list of important
trends for back-to-school teen fashion."
Target Stores said in their press release "Girls' fashion
trends center on lots of denim and suede. Look for lots
of fringe, turquoise, braiding and western influence.
Delicate floral prints and pastels are hot for girls'
athletic clothing."
I'm seeing lots of wooden beads and floral designs,
Accessories Magazine predicted this last year, but I
though that they were crazy.
